Stirring the Mortal World, Waiting for Your Return

I was a lowly little fairy in the heavenly realm. Sent down to the mortal world to undergo a trial, I must collect tears of true love, guide souls, save monsters, and maintain order in the human world.

He was a young general who had made a name for himself. The splendor of a city stretching thirty thousand miles could not compare to the carefree spirit of the Meng family's son. He rode off to battle, defending his homeland. He would let neither the world nor his beloved down.

You go to the battlefield; I wait behind the curtains.

We drink from the same Yellow River and gaze upon the same bright moon.

The Yangtze flows east to the sea; my heart is with you.

Day after day, I wait for you to return.

My longing knows no end. How many dawns and dusks must pass?

I raise my spear, thinking of nothing but keeping faith with our love.

"Waiting for Your Return."
