The Little Fox and Her Betrothed

A clingy, green-tea little fox × a scheming emperor who dotes on his fox alone

Ridiculous, sweet romance!!!

Note this well: When Qin Huai was a child, he only thought of the little fox as a friend. His feelings changed only after they met again as adults!!!

Jinxue was the only fox in the clan to gain intelligence in a hundred years, and the Fox Ancestor had high hopes for her. But before she could even take human form, she got bored and ran down the mountain. The ancestor searched the mortal world for ages before finally finding the little fox cub, who was barely alive. After keeping a close eye on her, she was finally about to undergo her tribulation and take human form when she disappeared again.

Fox Ancestor: “Where’s that huge fox cub of mine?!”

Qin Huai thought he was unlucky. His mother died young, his father didn’t love him, and just when he finally found a little fox companion to play with, it was beaten to death. Luckily, he found another little fox, and this one could take human form! He loved her even more.

At first: “You’re nothing but a substitute fox. Don’t you dare act cute with me.”

Later: “Wifey, have you forgotten? We’re supposed to have little fox cubs. I’m so handsome, so our fox cubs are bound to be even more beautiful.”

Jinxue: “You’re full of black-hearted schemes. I’m afraid we’ll end up with a mangy fox.”

Qin Huai: “I don’t believe you. Not unless you have one and show me.”
