Your Highness, the Princess: Your Shadow Guard Is Jealous Again

[Strong heroine + gender-bending romance + alternate world + System + devoted couple + bodyguard + happy ending]

To see her younger brother, the only family she has left, again, Chi Yu made a deal with the Imperial Authority System. As long as she doesn't disrupt the plot and completes the mission of stopping Bai Ruchu from slaughtering the Chi Kingdom, she can return to her own world and reunite with her brother.

When she opened her eyes again, she had become the Chi Kingdom's eleven-year-old eldest princess, beloved by her father but notorious for her arrogance and vicious temper.

Her status was excellent, but danger lurked beneath the calm of her life.

When she was poisoned at dinner, nearly hit by a carriage on an outing, and attacked in her sleep, Chi Yu couldn't help looking up at the sky and lamenting, "Why are there always people trying to kill me?!"

Since everyone hated her so much, Chi Yu resolved to turn over a new leaf and warm her enemies with love. But the System told her she had to stay in character.

Fine, Chi Yu thought. Being a good person is hard. Being bad is easy!

Three months later, at the victory banquet, everything was ready. All she had to do was claim the captive Bai Ruchu, and her mission would begin. But then...

Chi Yu: "System, is the memory you gave me a knockoff?"

Her mission was just about to start, but the Bai Ruchu who was supposed to appear had been replaced by someone else. How was she supposed to play her part?

After a long silence, the System gave in: [Let's just go with it.]

But once the story veered off course, it was headed somewhere entirely different.

Half a month later, the System stared silently at the leader of the assassins before it.

The good news: They found Bai Ruchu.

The bad news: Bai Ruchu had turned evil ahead of schedule.

With the original plot completely thrown into disarray, the System gave up trying to fix things and let Chi Yu do as she pleased.

And yet...
