In Shencheng, where reality overlaps with the inner world, the missing wander as quantum ghosts, while the cloned embryos in cryogenic pods open millions of eyes. As the barcode on the back of Lin Shen's neck begins to devour reality, and the Ouroboros symbol appears in Lu Chenzhou's DNA, they discover that so-called human evolution is nothing but a colossal lie, concocted by ambitious men who sacrifice the flesh and blood of observers.
