She Wanders the World

Two deities gather kindred spirits along the road of destiny, one by one, and form a group of protagonists. They are lucky enough to roam the mortal world. At first, they think it will be a peaceful, carefree trip where they can experience all the goodness and beauty of humanity. But they also witness the feudal belief that sons are worth more than daughters, the ruling class's corruption and indifference, the disregard for human life in dark dealings, and the prejudice and suspicion people show one another... Of course, they also see countless beautiful moments. Their understanding transforms as they travel, and the choices they make along the way, believing them to be right, ultimately lead each of them toward their own fate. Only she remains, continuing to roam the mortal world and fulfill the mission that is hers alone...

Please note:

1. This story has several romantic storylines, but romance is not its main focus. I recommend reading it as an ensemble story.

2. I won't define the relationship between Feng Xiao and Lin Xiao. Readers can interpret it however they like.

3. I consider the friendship storyline the main emotional thread. Readers who aren't comfortable with that should think carefully before reading, though everyone is welcome to form their own interpretation.

4. The setup at the beginning is a little long. If you don't want to read the build-up, try starting from Chapter 17. Those who are happy to read from the beginning are welcome, too.

5. Overall, the story has a light, healing tone, without too many bitter feuds or deep-seated hatreds.
