Also known as: “Oh No! Mr. Ji Took Me Home and Married Me”
Cocky, domineering male student × cool, gentle female student
Ji Chen and Yun Zhi have been neighbors since they were little. As children, he was the little tagalong who was always following her, and she was the older girl next door who shared half her candy with him. As they grew up, Ji Chen became a cool and distant transfer student, while Yun Zhi was a quiet top student. They reunited in the same class, yet it felt as if an invisible wall stood between them.
Just before the college entrance exams, Yun Zhi suddenly transferred abroad because of a family upheaval, and they lost touch once again. Years later, when they unexpectedly met again on a university campus, childhood memories long buried by time came rushing back. This time, they didn’t let each other slip away. They went from childhood friends to lovers, then walked hand in hand into marriage, and eventually welcomed a child of their own.
The story ends on a peaceful afternoon, with the family of three on the balcony. Their child points to the clouds and asks where home is. Ji Chen looks at Yun Zhi beside him and says softly, “In our hearts.” Their story began when they met as children and ends with them staying together for a lifetime.
