The male lead is the older brother who has been by the heroine’s side since childhood, and she is the girl he has chosen to marry one day. But before they reach adulthood, circumstances beyond their control force them apart. After finally getting together as adults, the heroine’s younger sister, jealous of her, tries to kill her but fails. However, the heroine loses her memory and her sight, leaving her unable to return and find the male lead. Believing she is dead, he falls into despair. To ease the pain of missing her, he decides to start over in another city. Perhaps the two were simply destined for each other: they meet again in this unfamiliar place. This time, though, even living next door to each other, they don’t recognize one another, and whenever they go out, they pass in opposite directions. Then an incident finally brings them together for real. The heroine has lost her memory and is blind, so the male lead devotes himself to caring for her. At last, she recovers her former self, and they spend their lives in love.
