An unconventional love story between a woman in finance and a man in tech, set between 2013 and 2016. After experiencing love and marriage at home, they head overseas to study. Their journey brings a desert-dwelling family, a Middle Eastern prince who becomes a third party, an international pursuit, stock market turmoil, and financial upheaval.
In the end, will they be imprisoned or make a comeback? How will they choose between love and profit?
The world is so cruel, yet so tender. Its tenderness lies in horizons beyond your sight and things beyond your heart's imagination.
In corners you could never imagine, someone is loving and giving in ways that defy convention.
Across religious beliefs, ethnic differences, and national borders.
[Searching for Sand: Finding what is real and precious amid the sweetness.]
This book is quite interesting. The plot of the story is relatively novel. The male protagonist only appears after Chapter 100. That is the real male protagonist of the book. This angle is quite funny. I have read three of the author's "Sugar Sea" series. This is the third part, which continues part of the plot of the second part and creates another original background. Regarding the perspective of Middle Eastern culture, the writing is quite special and unique. Under the two cultures, the male and female protagonists have a real-life collision, and many subplots are also very realistic. The characters are very three-dimensional and pretty.
