[One heroine] + [No System] + [Not reborn] + [Everyday urban life]
{An emotionally oblivious genius girl vs. a CEO who starts out as a sweet puppy and turns into a wolf}
Wen Li is the genius girl everyone at school recognizes. She devotes herself to research and is slow to understand her own feelings, yet she has an inexplicable dependence on her childhood friend, Mu Chen. Mu Chen may not be a genius, but he has a keen business sense. He has always stayed by Wen Li’s side, silently protecting her and secretly in love with her, though he has never said so.
At college, Wen Li gains a new admirer: her senior, Gu Yan. Talented and sharing her passion for research, Gu Yan often calls her away from Mu Chen under the pretext of discussing experiments or academic questions. Mu Chen watches, torn by conflicting feelings. He wants Wen Li to be happy, yet fears they are slowly drifting apart. Whenever he sees her discussing research with Gu Yan, her face serious yet happy, a pang of bitterness wells up inside him.
Then, a quiet twist of fate arrives. To graduate, Wen Li must have overseas experience, and Gu Yan will accompany her as her senior. Mu Chen struggles with himself. He wants Wen Li to pursue her dreams, but fears she will leave his life for good. Meanwhile, as Cheng Yuan is about to leave, Wen Li experiences an unfamiliar turmoil within herself. She begins to realize that her dependence on Mu Chen may be more than a habit: perhaps she has loved him all along.
On the eve of their parting, both of them harbor secrets they cannot bring themselves to confess.
This is a frivolous husband chaser. The heroine is really unlovable. She doesn't know how to match up with the hero and doesn't consider the hero's feelings. When she sees the hero with other women, she gets into trouble and then the hero comes to coax her like a licking dog. She doesn't talk about anything and doesn't talk. The progress is so slow. It's frustrating.
What the hell, this is a useless article. What the hell is this heroine? It's been more than 50 chapters and she hasn't left the country yet.
