My name is Jiang Fan. I was born in a village in northern China. Because of my unusual fate, my grandfather used a special method to keep me alive from childhood. I formed a bond with a ghost bride named Su Wanqing. When I was eighteen, a vengeful ghost came to claim my life. Wanqing exhausted years of cultivation to save me and fell into a deep sleep. From that day on, I set out to find a way to awaken her.
