After watching Mysterious Lotus Casebook, I just couldn't move on. Li Lianhua seemed as if he had really existed.
After rewatching it, I was even more firmly stuck at the bottom of the pit.
He's a descendant of the royal families of Daxi and Nanyin! The greatest fighter under heaven! A miraculous doctor who can bring the dead back to life and restore flesh to bones!
Every one of his identities is unmatched, yet he, who loves sweets the most, has suffered for most of his life.

So I wrote this story to soothe the regret in my heart.
This story is a continuation based on the Mysterious Lotus Casebook TV series.
Li Lianhua didn't die after jumping into the river. He survived and lived the life he wanted, just as he hoped to.
At first, I wanted him to regain his martial arts and become the bold and spirited Li Xiangyi again.
But later, all I wanted was for Li Lianhua to live to a ripe old age.
[Mostly everyday life: the trio's banter, everyone doting on Hua, and farming life. What's a BE or an OE? They don't exist here. It has to be an HE!!!]
I like it very much. I think they should be like this. After all, we don't want Li Lianhua to be the best in the world, but we want him to live a long life and be safe every year.
