A Poor Boy’s Diary of Striving in the Great Liang Dynasty

[Soul transmigration + alternate history + farming family + imperial exams + business + cautious survival + no brainless decisions] The five-year-old son of a minor official is transported into the body of a child in a poor farming family in an alternate dynasty, where he has to live on coarse grain and wild vegetables. Unable to endure such a hard life, he sets out to secure a comfortable life of lying flat in the future: he makes and sells soap and toothpaste, goes into business, and studies for the imperial exams. When he meets a powerful in-law family willing to support him, he readily lives off them, secretly builds up his strength, and makes weapons. Then he overthrows this crumbling dynasty, leaving his mark on this parallel world.
