His Snake

His Dragon Companion On the first day of school at Jujutsu High, sixteen-year-old Gojo Satoru finds a black "snake" in the woods, a sword stuck in its body. He carefully nurses it back to health and bandages its wounds. "He'd never bite me." "He'd never lie to me." "He'd never kill me." At twenty-eight, Gojo Satoru even tries to make the snake his boyfriend. After chasing him around for ages, he buys him a ring and declares, "If you don't like me, then why are you crying?" The Dragon God, accustomed to countless betrayals and watching all his friends die, lowers his eyes in silence. Satoru is special... He can't bear to turn him down, but doesn't dare say yes. Only after Satoru is sealed and nearly wipes out all the rotten old men does the Dragon God realize, too late, that Satoru is the one person he truly cannot afford to lose. "It's too late for that now." He just folds his arms and gives the person before him a bitter smile. "Satoru." Did you come here... to kill me?
