Reborn, Xuan Chu awakens to an exceptional five-element spirit root ahead of time. To save this world from destruction, she trains relentlessly and helps her fellow disciples along the way.
Only, it seems she may have helped them a little too much.
Her frail eldest senior brother, who cultivates both alchemy and talismans, advances every few days, so she gets struck by lightning every other week.
Her second senior sister, desperate for love, falls for her instead of the young master of the demon clan?!
Her rebellious third senior brother, whose unrequited love had him ready to become an evil cultivator, is coaxed by her into becoming a Buddhist cultivator.
The nine-tailed fox, fourth senior brother and guardian spirit beast of the mountain, avoids having his core dug out and becomes the Demon King instead?
Her fifth senior brother, an expert in divination, even predicts every move the villain will make, always getting there first and pinning all the blame on the Demon Clan's Holy Maiden.
After wiping out the villains and winning at life, Xuan Chu declares: As expected, being lovesick gets in the way of ascending to immortality!
And senior brothers and sisters, don't advance so fast! Getting struck by lightning really hurts!
The Heavenly Dao enjoys the show. You let love get in the way of everything in your past life, so this time I'll strike you until you drop.
