The Hunter Husband of a Fallen Prince

An alternate setting! This is a story with two male leads! After a change of dynasties, a young prince with no claim to the throne is caught up in political turmoil and hunted by his half-brothers. He flees for thousands of miles, winds up stranded in a mountain village, and is rescued by a local hunter through a twist of fate. The prince is gentle and thoughtful, well-read, and skilled in medicine. The hunter looks rough around the edges, but is actually attentive and honorable. Together, they settle into the quiet, ordinary rhythms of village life and farming. There are some difficult characters, but they can be dealt with; the court has a role, but it isn't the main focus. Come enjoy the warm, peaceful, occasionally eventful but never epic village life of Xiaoyu and classmate Xiaoyue.

A few caveats: the dynasty is fictional, with elements mixed from different eras. This is the author's first story, so feedback is welcome, but please be gentle with the scolding...
