[Sentinel and Guide] Ice-Cold Is Working Hard Again Today

Sentinels and Guides + Interstellar + A heroine who grows over time + One-sided romance

With a bang, Su Mashu transmigrates to the interstellar age and awakens a spirit form. Living by the motto “If you want to live, live. If you don't, get lost,” Su Mashu transforms into a purification-type Guide.

For Su Mashu, a secure government job is her lifelong dream! Now that she's got one, she takes her work seriously and climbs the career ladder with a perpetually icy expression.

Looking at the appointment slots that are almost impossible to get, Su Mashu thinks: Hmm... Doesn't this count as the Sentinels recognizing my work ethic?

Sentinel 1: Guide appointments are hard to get, especially with a purification-type Guide!

Sentinel 2: But this Guide's purification efficiency is insanely high. I want to see what the fuss is about!

In this world, both devastated and thriving, Guides are incredibly rare. Sentinels are human weapons, a strategic resource deployed against contaminated zones. For them, living and dying for humanity means that the contaminated zones are their only possible final destination.

Su Mashu doesn't think one little Guide can make much of a difference. She doesn't think she's the chosen one, either, and certainly doesn't believe she can save the world. All she can do is take her work seriously.

(No romance. The heroine isn't evil, naive, or mentally ill. This is something I wrote for my own enjoyment, with lots of original worldbuilding. Don't insult the heroine or the author, but feel free to criticize other characters in the story. If you don't like it, please leave. There are countless great books out there, so why pick on my crooked little tree?)
