(Fan fiction + alternate universe + heroes + chaos + ensemble cast + changing the world)
Tomato Novels is plagued by far too many cookie-cutter stories. It has reached the point where bad novels drive out good ones. If the opening doesn't feel like what I've read before, I click away. If the first few chapters don't explain the setting and the protagonist's cheat, I won't keep reading. Sigh!
Madame Kiramman: Caitlyn, you're an Enforcer now, so of course you can afford to be kind. But when you're in my position, if killing every Zaunite were the only way to save Piltover, what would you choose?
Vi: Caitlyn, I'm not a cat or a vase of flowers that you can just set aside. I'm a person, a living, breathing person! I can't be your possession.
Caitlyn: My bullets have no blind spots. The light of justice will shine across both cities!
Jayce: I'll create an ultimate weapon capable of threatening the whole world. Then no one will ever dare covet Piltover again!
Jinx: I'm going to blow all of Piltover sky-high!
Viktor: Flesh is weak. Embrace the machine!
Ambessa: This City of Progress must open its gates to us!
(Just to clarify, the first volume, the Zaun arc, lays the groundwork for the protagonist and fills in the background of the twin cities, so it needs to be read all the way through. If you only want the exciting parts, you can start with the second volume. The action, conspiracies, chaos, and heroes awakening all begin in the Piltover arc.
For the record, Jinx's rocket didn't hit anyone, Ambessa isn't a family-first type but a warlord, and Vi doesn't join the Enforcers, among other things.)
It must be noted here that in this book, Jinx's ultimate death missile failed to hit anyone, and the plot began to diverge. So the conflict is not concentrated in Zaun, but in Piltover. Piltover is a mess, with various forces competing for it. Whether it is Tomato or Qidian, the characteristic of online articles is that the beginning must be attractive. The plot is set up well, but if it fails to capture the audience at the beginning, there will be no future. If you're lucky, it's done. You have to try your best to make money in the middle. There are very few people who can complete the project, and there are very few people who can't finish it.
Come on, author, overall it looks okay. I just hope that I can get along with people like Jinx Wei more happily.
