The protagonist Wu Dao accidentally traveled through time and became the way of heaven. He thought he could control the world stably, but found that the world was flawed, so he plotted against Pangu, making his body transform into heaven and earth, and his remaining soul transformed into three pure beings, giving birth to the Pangu clan.
Wu Dao has since embarked on the road of using power for personal gain and maintaining rule, becoming the villain of Tiandao.
