Global Apocalypse: Eat the Golden Fruit and Become Invincible

In 2029, alien nanospores code-named "Starfall" invade the earth. All infected people will be transformed into "aberrants" within 7 days - but if they eat an "Original Fruit" within 72 hours of being infected, not only will they not be transformed, but they will awaken extraordinary abilities. The fruits, however, only grow on mutated plants nourished by the corpses of infected animals.
