Reborn for a New Life, Qingying Makes a Comeback!

After Qianlong ascended the throne, he bestowed the title of Empress Dowager upon his birth mother, Lady Ulanara, who took up residence in the Palace of Compassion and Tranquility. He bestowed the title of Holy Mother Empress Dowager upon his adoptive mother, Lady Niohuru, who resided in the Palace of Tranquil Longevity.

As the niece of the Empress Dowager and a member of Qianlong's harem, what path should Qingying, a woman of the Ulanara clan, take after being reborn?

Author's note: The overall plot and character portrayals follow the TV adaptation of Ruyi's Royal Love in the Palace, particularly in the case of the Empress Dowager. Only the following points draw somewhat on the prequel.

1. Empress Chunyuan does not exist, and Consort Wan leaves the palace for other reasons.

2. Consort Xi is not the birth mother of the Sixth Prince, Hongzhan. She has only two daughters and one adopted son, Hongli.
