Wu Di is a low-level security guard who accidentally brings a System with him when he transmigrates to the world of immortal cultivation. There, he leads the common people in revolution and gradually makes his way to the Myriad Worlds. The story features famous historical figures such as Qin Shi Huang, Emperor Wu of Han, Emperor Taizong of Tang, and Emperor Hongwu of Ming. This is a slow-paced dynasty-conquest novel with an invincible protagonist. First, I’d like to express my heartfelt thanks to all my readers. This book also has a large cast of characters, so if there’s anyone you’re interested in, feel free to leave a comment in the reviews. I’ll make sure to include them. Any good suggestions are welcome in the review section, too. Thanks again, dear readers. Thank you!
One night, as I sat at my desk revising the epic history of vanquishing demons,
I suddenly heard a plaintive flute outside the window
I opened the window and saw:
Xin Qiji leaning against the moon, wiping his sword, a bone flute tied to its tassel
Yue Fei lifting Wanyan Wushu’s head with his spear, a jade flute lodged in his throat
Ban Chao leading envoys from thirty-six kingdoms, a foreign flute hanging at his waist
All the heroes raised their flutes together:
“You write of us with blood and fire,
so we have come to play along!” I grinned and broke off a green bamboo branch to play with them.
As our flute notes intertwined:
Huo Qubing’s bones awoke on the Qilian Mountains,
Wen Tianxiang’s tattered robe rose from the Lingding Ocean,
Lin Zexu’s burning opium-destroying torches blazed anew at Humen
Countless heroic souls came striding back across the stars!
With the final note, the flute split the sky. Words could never capture the heroes’ spirits or tell all the noble deeds of the brave.
They became a giant couplet beside the Milky Way:
First line: Blood waters eight thousand leagues of our homeland
Second line: Souls roar through the blue heavens across five thousand years
Horizontal scroll: How fortunate to stand together, comrades!
Um, I can't understand it. The time span is too big. There are only a few chapters from time travel to the occupation of the city. It may be better later, but I have no intention of reading anymore. The writing is not that fast.
