Who Says Women Are as Delicate as Flowers?

What kind of fate could make a woman resolve so fiercely to fight back? What kind of man could make a woman treat him with such distant courtesy? Fang Hui was born and raised in a poor farming family in Shilipo Village, Longxiang County, Yun Kingdom. Her father was deeply entrenched in the belief that sons mattered more than daughters. In his words and actions, he beat or scolded Fang Hui, while fawning over his son, Fang Bao. Growing up in such an environment was agony for her. Yet she never gave up her studies, spending all her free time reading and practicing poetry. More precisely, she never stopped struggling against fate. In her heart, she hoped to realize the value of a woman's life. After being humiliated once, she even bravely declared, “I will make sure my whole family is happy.” This was the deepest wish in her heart, the obsession she could never let go of. She also could not let go of this poem: “Cold snow weighs down the grass, the west wind sends the last wild geese on their way. I pity the daughters of this world, who year after year endure sorrow and pain.” What kind of man could have written “Song of Pity for Women,” so simple and direct, yet so tender and heartfelt? It must have been a man! Fang Hui was certain of it, and she looked forward to meeting him someday! Would her hopes come true one day? (This blurb is terrible, just read the story. It's an inspirational fantasy romance.)
