The Legend of Zhang Daoling, Celestial Master

Zhang Daoling was afflicted by the demonic energy of the Nine Hells. His Daoist heart was clouded, and his spiritual platform polluted. He was reborn through transformation at the Jade Lake in Kunlun Ruins, then chanced upon a fragment of the Earth Vein’s Mysterious Pivot in Cloud Hidden Temple. A fairy crane led him to Mount Yunjin, where he practiced alchemy. Seven years later, his elixir was complete, and the Azure Dragon and White Tiger appeared. In the mountains of Bashu, he repaired and sealed the rifts to the Nine Hells, imprisoned the Six Great Demon Kings in Fengdu City of the Northern Yin, and drove the Eight Great Ghost Marshals to the barren northwest of the wilderness. Beneath the Yellow Emperor’s Altar on Mount Qingcheng, he swore an oath: from then on, humans would dwell in the world of the living and ghosts in the netherworld, bringing peace to the Three Realms. He saved the world with talismans and elixirs, eventually attaining the Dao and being conferred the title of Celestial Master, joining the ranks of the immortals. This book mainly recounts the many little-known and legendary events he experienced while cultivating the Dao. Its deliberately intricate and extraordinary plot twists and turns, making for a compelling read. We invite all readers to enjoy it.
