The Timeworn Inn: I Dissect Immortality in a Time Loop

On a stormy night, college student Chen Mo receives a bizarre keepsake from his father: a pocket watch ticking backward. It leads him back to his family's century-old hot spring inn.

In the cellar, he discovers a pottery jar containing severed fingers immersed in formalin. Bloodstained words at the bottom of the pool and a missing painter's diary expose the truth behind the human experimentation conducted during the Showa era.

When Chen Mo discovers that his DNA matches a Japanese army Host file with 100% accuracy, fungal threads begin growing a second eyelid over his eyeball. Through these forbidden eyes, he sees the inn transforming into a gigantic pocket watch, while twelve mechanical brides awaken simultaneously at inns around the world.

Will he become a vessel for an immortal progenitor, or burn away the temporal anchor in his bloodline? This Host certification spanning eighty years will finally find its answer when Chen Mo cuts open his own heart...
