1.

While traveling away from home, Chu Tong finds a husky trying to scam him. From then on, his peaceful life is gone, replaced by daily chaos as he spars wits with the dog.

Chu Tong names the dog Dashun. Every time he takes him for a walk, he says, “Let’s take Dashun for a walk.”

It’s a play on words that means “everything goes smoothly.”

But he never imagined the husky was no ordinary dog. It could actually speak!

2.

Qin Shun, a werewolf who has spent five years disguised as a husky, decides to come clean to Chu Tong about who he really is.

Mostly because Chu Tong plans to have him undergo a certain surgery, and he has no choice but to tell the truth.

3.

Late at night, Qin Shun leans close to Chu Tong’s ear and whispers:

“Chu Tong, don’t be scared. I’m a werewolf.”

Chu Tong jolts awake.

He must have stayed up too late last night and started hearing things. Otherwise, how could he have heard a husky talking?

4.

Worried Chu Tong won’t believe him, Qin Shun explains at length.

Chu Tong refuses to believe it and reaches for his phone to get his brain checked, but a dog’s paw blocks it.

Dashun sighs deeply. “I know this is hard for you to accept, but I really am a werewolf.”

Chu Tong stares at the husky before him and screams in exasperation:

How could this not be hard to accept?! A husky can talk, and it says it’s a werewolf?!

From then on, Chu Tong sees the world in a new light. It turns out there are fantastical creatures like this in the world, and even he has another identity of his own.
