Story background
In a fictional world of ancient martial arts, there are many martial arts sects, including famous and upright sects such as Shaolin and Wudang, and evil sects such as the Blood Demon Palace and the Ten Thousand Poison Sect. Although the imperial court controls the world, the forces of the rivers and lakes are intertwined and often conflict with each other. The Wulin holds a "Martial Arts Sword Discussion" every five years to select the best master in the world, which attracts much attention.
