Movie Grudge: The Vengeful Ghost Is Coming to a Theater Near You

(System-based + light comedy + suspenseful mystery-solving + eerie livestreams + nurturing + everyday life + one heroine)

The owner of a cinema on the verge of bankruptcy.

He is forced to scan a QR code and download a creepy app called [Endless Terror].

Scanning the code lets him claim free horror movies and unlock real paranormal missions.

But the “movie scripts” the app rewards him with are all haunted crime scenes:

A murdered woman in a corpse-theft case comes back to life in the dead of night and sneaks into his warehouse;

The eerie curse of Nanhu Cemetery, where the dead look just like babies;

Living puppets made from human skin in Corpse Puppet City;

And the deadly exams at the school of vengeful ghosts...

All of them are reenacted over and over as he films the scripts.

But as the filming missions keep escalating, Gu Shi discovers that:

The permanent gray fog in the cinema’s back courtyard hides a haunted building overlapping with the real world;

And even people who have watched his movies are starting to disappear one after another.

What on earth is going on?

“Welcome to my midnight screening. A friendly reminder:”

“There are no stunt doubles in this movie. The ghosts are actors, and they really will take your life.”
