In order to understand the stories of the Sui and Tang Dynasties in more detail, I tried to I was looking for the storytelling of "Heroes of the Sui and Tang Dynasties" online, and luckily I found the 220 chapters of "The Romance of the Sui and Tang Dynasties" lectured by Teacher Tian Lianyuan. In it, the plots such as the great destruction of a long snake formation and the bloody battle on Mount Siping made my blood boil. I couldn't stop listening to it! But after listening to it once, I forgot what it was about. I admired my memory more and more, so I had to write down the plots one by one. At this time, I already had a lot of materials in my hands, but there were still many places that I couldn't catch up on, such as the battle with Wang Shichong and Dou Jiande, and the capture of Jingde at Baibiguan, so I went to the bookstore to find all of them. To understand this period of history, I used books on the Sui and Tang dynasties to draw more lessons from, such as "Those Things About the Tang Dynasty" by Teacher Mo Xiangmanlou, and "A Detailed Description of the Tang Dynasty" edited by Teacher Zhou Shuiqin. The introduction of the Xuanwumen incident in Chu Renhuo's book was too official, and the 220 chapters of storytelling ended with the death of Shan Xiongxin. When I wrote it, I drew on the description in "Zizhi Tongjian".
