This is a world built around a game. The protagonist, Lin Xiaofan, unexpectedly obtains the Mythical Summoning System, which lets him summon legendary figures from Eastern mythology to fight for him. From Sun Wukong to Nezha, from the White Snake to Erlang Shen, gods and demons of every kind appear to lend him their aid.
On the surface, Lin Xiaofan is an unremarkable rookie player, but he keeps his true abilities hidden. By pretending to be weak to catch his enemies off guard, he rises through the game step by step. He's funny and easygoing, and good at solving problems in a relaxed way, but he's also logical and clever. As the game progresses and the nation-versus-nation system gradually opens up, Lin Xiaofan leads his mythical army to sweep across the lands and become a legendary figure in the game.
