Soul-Devouring Spirit Root: Possessing a Fairy from the Start

[Unconventional body snatching + scattering beans to raise soldiers + bean soldiers evolving + lying]

Liu Changfeng transmigrates to a Taoist temple, where the abbess Wang Xiangu forces him to eat a spirit herb every day.

Eventually, a sprout grows from his head and blooms, giving his mortal body an extraordinary spirit root.

Wang Xiangu, who “planted” the spirit root in Liu Changfeng, is overjoyed.

She yanks the spirit plant out, roots and all, and plants it in her own brain.

Once transferred, the spirit plant treats unfamiliar souls as nourishment and nurtures Origin Spirit Beans.

When an Origin Spirit Bean comes into contact with something that bears karma, it merges with it, takes root, sprouts, and grows into all kinds of bean soldiers.

The bean soldiers possess intelligence, and each is unique, depending on the souls it devours and the things it fuses with:

A skinning razor that numbs pain and loves killing;

A stinking old shoe that urges people to be good;

An extraordinary flying sword that's terrified of dying…

Every bean soldier has its own unique path of advancement.

Liu Changfeng's soul follows the extraordinary spirit root into Wang Xiangu's body, so he has to keep living in the old woman's body.

After that, Liu Changfeng no longer hides his talent. He acts boldly and makes a show of himself, deliberately luring others into trying to seize his spirit root.

Once his spirit root is dug out, Liu Changfeng can live in a different body, produce Origin Spirit Beans, and obtain new bean soldiers.

Want to dig out my spirit root? Want to take over my body?

Go ahead!

If you don't possess me, how else am I supposed to produce Origin Spirit Beans?
