The plot is probably about the same as the anime. I haven't read the novel, and I don't know where to find it. Then I heard people in the comments say Louise is pretty great, so I'll do my best to write this well. Some names are different, which is normal, so I'll include a few distinguishing traits. There are no words for this part, and things might get a little messy later on. But it shouldn't make the characters hard to recognize.
