Misty Rain: Yiping and Ruping Swap Souls

[Republican Era] [Both reborn] [Transmigration] [Yiping]

If only we could start over.

After the blow of heartbreak, her mother’s betrayal, and the accusations of those around her, Ruping came to hate the self-righteous kindness she had once believed in. She hated that she couldn’t love and hate with abandon. She hated that she lacked the courage to fight. She hated that she still loved her mother despite her betrayal. So she chose to end her own weakness and bravely free herself. Even at the moment she took her own life, Ruping still had one question: If I were Yiping, could I win Shuhuan’s heart and love? Would he never leave me? Would I be better able to protect my mother and family? Yiping spent the rest of her life healing the wounds of her childhood and resenting Ruping and the injustice of fate. Though she gradually let go of her prejudice against the other family for the sake of love and what was right, it remained a lifelong pain. Mengping’s bitter curse, “Our score isn’t settled yet,” seemed to come true.

After the two heroines are reborn, their souls switch bodies! What feelings and melodies will a new variation on the piano piece give rise to?

The gears of fate begin to turn in reverse, and everything returns to the beginning... If I weren’t myself...
