Five hundred years after Tang Monk returned from studying for scriptures, heaven faced an unprecedented crisis. The story takes place in heaven and the human world, with the main scenes including Nantianmen, Lingxiao Palace and Chang'an City. The Trisolaran civilization launched an attack on heaven, and the gods in heaven fell into panic. The Jade Emperor convened the immortals to discuss countermeasures, but found that the conventional methods of heaven had no effect on the Trisolaran civilization.
