In the vast history of the universe, is Earth truly just humanity's home?
While researching geomagnetic anomalies, young astrophysicist Alex Rivers accidentally picks up a mysterious signal. It seems to contain intelligent information and conceal some kind of warning. When he tries to verify it with his mentor, Professor Brian, he encounters inexplicable interference. Meanwhile, Ron Max, an agent with the Global Security Bureau, appears and warns him that he has crossed a dangerous line.
As Alex pursues the truth, he discovers that this signal has appeared repeatedly throughout Earth's history. It was briefly detected at the Pyramids of Giza, on the Moon, in Chernobyl, in the deep sea, in Antarctica, and elsewhere, only to be swiftly erased each time. He gradually realizes that what he is investigating is not merely a string of data, but a prehistoric civilization's plan, hidden for millennia: the "Homecoming Project."
A prehistoric civilization once ruled Earth, but its ultimate fate was completely buried. Even now, its legacy continues to shape the course of human civilization and may even determine whether humanity survives. The mysterious woman Kana reveals part of the truth, while the AI assistant Noah gradually awakens during the decoding process and begins to question whether humanity deserves to be saved. As Alex tries to unravel the mystery, he discovers that governments around the world have been infiltrated by an unknown force, and the Homecoming Project's countdown has already begun.
Are humans truly the masters of Earth, or merely pawns in a much larger game? Is the ultimate goal of the Homecoming Project to save us, or destroy us?
"Homecoming is not a plan, but a choice."
