Watching the Story: The Hero Who Got Beaten to a Pulp

[Western fantasy setting + No romance + Friendship-focused + A touch of ensemble cast + Sarcastic narrator] (Readers with ideas can leave a comment and create a character.)

Ha, honestly, I don’t even know what the main genre is. The story and the viewing sessions alternate.

A screen of light appears in the sky. In full view of everyone, the hero chosen by the gods to defeat the Demon King gets beaten up by a girl passing by.

The gods: I told you this guy was an anomaly.

Meng Meng: Well, your god shouldn’t have dropped me here. (Updates may be irregular, but I’ll make sure the story is complete.)

The main cast: This script doesn’t seem right.

The viewing sessions begin in Chapter Six.

Official blurb:

On the Continent of Light and Shadow, everyone, no, every race, worships the gods.

They sing the gods’ praises, but gradually forget that the gods have their own desires.

As faith crumbles, someone from another world becomes entangled in the threads of fate.
