Sun Wukong and the Fairy Zixia fell in love. To keep their love from interfering with the great mission to obtain the scriptures, Western Buddhism secretly harmed the Fairy Zixia and sent the Six-Eared Macaque to take Sun Wukong’s place on the journey west. The real Sun Wukong was imprisoned in the Buddha Kingdom in the Palm, forced to suffer the pain of endless reincarnation. After enduring countless trials, Sun Wukong escaped the Buddha Kingdom and embarked on a path of revenge. With help from his fellow disciples and friends from all walks of life, he ultimately succeeded in taking revenge and resurrected the Fairy Zixia. At last, the lovers were united.
