The Way that can be spoken is not the Way that can be clearly understood. The Way is empty and mysterious, beyond words and impossible to name, so it is called cold: the Cold Way! When the world falls silent, it is regarded as nothing; all things are empty, and the heart grows cold. Time rushes by, and silence turns to ice. Thus came coldness.
The principles of the Bright Way are the true principles of the Way. The principles of heaven and earth, and all the myriad forms of creation, are governed by harmony. This is the foundation of the Way. Your path is the way of the noble-minded: cultivate virtue and authenticity, practice wisdom and virtue, keep compassion alive, and bring blessings to all living beings. Only then can you find joy and contentment, live in freedom, and enjoy lasting peace and happiness.
