Harry Potter: A Traitor in Bloom

Bejavette had always believed that she and Tom were alike.

“You’re the person I’m closest to in this world.”

We grew up together in an orphanage, both yearned for power, and thirsted for knowledge of Dark Magic.

We despised mediocrity, pursued glory, and gladly accepted each other’s exploitation and arrogance.

I was the one most like you, the one most suited to you.

But when time turned back and the truth of the past was laid bare, Bejavette no longer knew if she could still feel the same way as before.

“I love you most of all. I hate you most of all.”

An unbreakable bond ties us together. To speak only of love and hate is to make what we share seem far too simple.
