A physics PhD transmigrates to a magical world, reshapes its rules with science, and launches a spacefaring epic!
Lin Mo, a physics PhD from the University of Science and Technology of China, unexpectedly transmigrates to a world ruled by magic and nobles. With his [Eye of True Sight], which lets him perceive the microscopic world, and [Fine Control], which lets him manipulate the elements, he discovers to his shock that magic is actually science! To protect his childhood friend from the nobles who covet her, Lin Mo resolutely sets out to use science against the privileges of magic.
He analyzes magic and creates revolutionary scientific spells like “Hydrogen-Oxygen Explosion” and “Absolute Zero.” Again and again, he face-slaps arrogant nobles and exposes their conspiracy to monopolize magic and maintain their rule. In the end, he overthrows the old order and establishes the Divinewood Oak Empire and the Academy of Magical Engineering.
But the story doesn’t end there. Lin Mo turns his gaze toward the stars: exploring the ruins of an ancient civilization on the moon, developing aerospace technology, and confronting the threat of an asteroid impact powerful enough to destroy the world. Along the way, deeper technological and philosophical questions emerge, including AI awakening, the ethics of virtual worlds, uploaded consciousness, and “digital immortality.”
Faced with internal power struggles, the darkness of human nature, and unknown threats from the cosmos, Lin Mo leads a band of companions including Xiao Zhao, the strategist Katie, his AI partner Eva, and the combat prodigy Leng Yue. Together, they must not only use technology and ingenuity to overcome one crisis after another, but also build an entirely new civilization based on shared resources, equal opportunity, and unity across species and realities.
This is an epic that blends fantasy magic with hard science fiction, packed with thrilling battles and profound ideas. Follow Lin Mo’s journey and witness a technological revolution in another world, from a continent of magic to the vast cosmos, as he explores the ultimate mysteries of life, civilization, and the universe!
It's a bit rough at the beginning, but after a few dozen chapters it starts to get really interesting. The part where Fluttershy controls the big yellow dog with a ray of spiritual thought, experiences the description of the taste map, controls the black cat to perform movements, and performs a double act with ventriloquism, is simply a masterpiece!
I just watched the first part and I couldn't understand it at first, but it gets better and better as I go on. Highly recommended (-^^-)
