In December 1937, the Japanese army invaded Nanjing, the ancient capital of China. Within a few weeks, more than 300,000 soldiers and civilians were massacred, and the pseudo "Nanjing Municipal Autonomous Committee", the pseudo "Reformation Government of the Republic of China", and the pseudo "Republican Government of the Republic of China" successively appeared. The story is told from the perspective of an uneducated little person named "Liu Changan" who, under the training of Japanese spies, lived through that thrilling and humiliating history as a Japanese spy and a Chinese spy and survived and grew up.
