At the Ye family's thousand-year ancestral rite in the Eastern Wilderness, the River of Stars flows backward and all paths mourn.
The instant Ye Chen awakens the Chaos Dao Body, the Nine Heavens Tribulation of the Dao tears open the firmament, and ancient artifacts from the seven forbidden lands ring in unison. This boy, sealed away by his parents for sixteen years, is actually a taboo existence whose name will shake the Eight Wildernesses!
In his left hand, the Zhou Tian Star Scripture manifests the stars of the heavens. In his right, the Taiyin Profound Canon freezes an eternal night.
The Myriad Phenomena Furnace roars in his dantian, refining the laws of the heavens into fuel as it derives the perfect Great Dao.
When the phantom of an ancient bronze coffin appears behind him, the Central Province's crown prince bleeds from his double pupils, the Western Regions' Buddha Son crushes his bodhi beads, and all three thousand fate slips in the Heavenly Secrets Pavilion burn to ash. At last, everyone remembers the terror of being ruled by chaos.
“My son's fate is not for Heaven to decide!”
The Northern Dark Empress Jiang Minghuang points her sword at the Return to Ruins and freezes ten thousand miles of tribulation clouds.
Deep within the Ye family's ancestral grounds, twelve self-sealed bronze statues of quasi-emperors open their eyes at once.
Yet the Master of the Heavenly Secrets Pavilion burns his lifespan to glimpse the future: deep within the Dao mark between the boy's brows coils a curse from the Return to Ruins, one that has already buried nine Great Emperors...
The Eight Great Wilderness Domains are thrown into turmoil:
The Godslaying Sword Spirit in the Burial Weapons Valley breaks free of its seal and acknowledges its master; the Witch Ancestor's stone statue beneath Starfall Cliff awakens; and a bronze fragment at the bottom of Jade Lake resonates with the boy's birthmark.
When Ye Chen crushes the Nine-Dragon Heaven-Suppressing Seal with his bare hands and steps atop the Yin-Yang Dao Diagram to claim the top spot on the Prodigy List, the bronze coffin inside his starry pendant bursts open. Lying inside is a corpse with the exact same face as his!
This is a feast celebrating the return of chaos, and a calamity that will bring the heavens crashing down.
Watch as the boy, with his taboo body, fuses the Three Thousand Great Daos and suppresses the prodigies of every race.
(Traditional fantasy + invincible protagonist + war among myriad races)
It's so fucking messy.
