Cyberpunk: A New Legend

[Note: Based on the world of Cyberpunk 2077, with many original additions]

Zhuang Yuan, a casual Cyberpunk 2077 player, has his soul transmigrate into the game’s world.

The good news: after a few twists and turns, he starts out in Night City. A cyberpunk prophet! The advantage is ours!

The bad news: the world has no easy mode, and he isn’t the famous “V the Destroyer” from the game.

The good news: his new body is great. With black-and-red veins occasionally appearing, he could easily cosplay Alex Mercer from Prototype.

Even better news: an AI beyond the Blackwall has invited him to join a megacorporation, with excellent benefits! He’ll be Night City branch manager from day one!

The worst news: “Our corporate mission: establish a new world order!” Zhuang Yuan says, “There’s something wrong with this company, isn’t there?! I’m supposed to fight the megacorps? Seriously?”

As he ventures farther and farther, he gradually discovers that this world is much more complicated than the game:

A human experimentation organization hidden behind the scenes, deep-net spaces abandoned beyond the Blackwall, the true history of megacorp wars buried in the static, and the shared ambitions of those at the very top of the corporate tower…

Zhuang Yuan only wanted to lie flat and enjoy a quiet life, but he is pushed ever onward:

A lab escapee hunted by pursuers, a rising mercenary star, Night City’s infamous “A,” a young aristocrat who has gone legit, a new member of the megacorp roundtable…

Until he becomes a new legend whose name rings throughout the entire cyberpunk world.

As the edgy boy matures into a new legend, a young and vibrant soul from another world also brings the possibility of a better future to this dark, downward-spiraling world.

This is the story of a new legend in a cyberpunk world.
