The First Sect of the Ten Thousand Sword Paths

The Heavenly Dao lies in the Sword Heart, its intent in the Sword Soul. When a sword possesses a soul, all forms become an unfathomable abyss. This is a world of the sword, a world where the strong prey on the weak. When they lack strength, some choose to scrape by for a lifetime, while others give everything they have to claim the highest honor.

The world’s sword arts are hidden within Ten Thousand Swords Peak. Everyone knows that sword cultivators obtain Sword Souls and contain the Way of the Sword.

On that ancient and mysterious cultivation continent, the Way of the Sword flourishes. With its profound heritage and lofty prestige, the Ten Thousand Daos Sword Sect sits firmly at the head of the righteous sects. Opposing it is the infamous Ten Thousand Demons Sect. As the symbol of the demonic path, the two sects have been locked in a thousand-year feud, an invisible shackle binding the fate of the continent.

Cultivators train in sword energy to transcend the mortal world and attain sainthood, or refine pills and talismans to strengthen themselves. Every step along this endless path of cultivation is full of challenges and opportunities.

Sword Saint Dugu Jian had only wanted to spend a peaceful life with the one he loved, enjoying a harmonious marriage together. But eighteen years ago, at Ten Thousand Swords Peak, when his beloved wife Ye Qinglian gave birth to their son Ye Long, thirty thousand streaks of purple aura came from the east, and the ten thousand swords returned to their source as the Sword Soul entered the child’s body.
