Aren’t I Just Cannon Fodder? How Did I Become Everyone’s Favorite?

Du Qingyu was a fine young man of the twenty-first century. Who could have guessed that one careless move would bring him into the wonderful world of fan fiction? And so he began creating fan works.

After finishing a fan illustration of a novel's male lead, Du Qingyu was thoroughly satisfied. The next second, he found himself in another world.

Du Qingyu: ...?

System Xiao Ai: Dear, as long as you mend your ways, stop drawing fan art, and dispel your readers' resentment, you can return to your original world.

Du Qingyu: You think I don't want to quit?

He was practically on his knees, begging himself to stop drawing, but then he discovered it was even more satisfying to draw while kneeling.

Until one day, every man in the book whose fan art he had written or drawn came looking for him.

Du Qingyu: Please, no! I won't draw anymore!

Everyone: It's too late.
