(No CP, single female lead, fantasy, elves, monsters, ghosts, and other creatures) Also known as I Work as a Ghost Messenger in the Netherworld
After graduating from college and preparing to start an internship, Li Yingxi dies of a terminal illness. Her soul enters a fantasy world she created in her imagination. There, she loses her family, is taken in by a powerful sorcerer, and becomes a mage. Then one day, a ghost messenger takes her out of the fantasy world. When she remembers everything and follows the messenger to the Netherworld to be reincarnated, a group of ghost cultivators seize the moment when the gates between the worlds open and invade the Netherworld, attacking in an attempt to take control. Their battle catches Li Yingxi in the crossfire as she waits in the Yama Hall waiting room to be judged, and she nearly loses her soul. To compensate her, the Netherworld offers her a chance to work as a civil servant in the underworld. And so Li Yingxi becomes a ghost messenger.
