Slay the Gods: Great, It's a Fan Favorite, We're Doomed

[Solving the tragedy + my take on a mystery-focused main plot + everyone’s favorite + no CP in the main story + power of ‘I reckon’]

[There are otome elements, but romance isn’t the focus. The whole point is that everyone dotes on her.]

The primordial dragon, forgotten by the world, passes on its legacy to a visitor from a higher dimension.

That day, all the gods in the world are shaken.

They clearly feel the pull coming from the source, like a summons to make a pilgrimage.

Hawthorne is a one-eyed detective. A little over ten years ago, the killer she was investigating ambushed her, and through sheer bad luck (literally), she ended up in this world. With no money and no legal identity, she has to attend school while working odd jobs, all the while returning to her old profession.

But can someone tell her why mystery stories in this world have a weird-fiction element (supernatural powers), for crying out loud?!

Wait, is that new blind student called Lin Qiye?

So, on a dark and stormy night, the drenched girl knocks on the door of a detective agency.

“This is Cangnan City’s number-one detective and her assistants. Dare to challenge them… No, that’s not right. These two can’t even make up a pair of eyes.”

“Hey, my eyes are fine now!”

(Polite smile from Fish) “That’s right. We’re the best in the world.”

[You have become part of the cycle of reincarnation. Congratulations. Perhaps this time, things will be different.]
