[Ancient fantasy romance + reborn + revenge + irresistible cat demon + villainous male lead + angst before sweetness]
In her previous life, she entered the prince’s residence full of hope, seeking a good match and a peaceful life. But after being framed by a treacherous enemy, she was disgraced in front of everyone. The prince, unimpressed by her ordinary looks, watched coldly as she was wrongly condemned to death.
She had not even finished speaking before the prince cut her off. “Silence! With your plain looks and lowly birth, it’s hardly surprising you’d stoop to something so despicable.”
Reborn as a stunning cat demon, she returns bearing the resentment of her previous life. He hides his feelings, yet speaks with earnest sincerity. “Across the lands of the Tang Dynasty, there is no one I wish to stop whom I cannot stop. You have only yourself to blame for barging into my world so recklessly…”
It's well written, especially the pull between the protagonists.
The author is very attentive. The plot of this novel is compact and beautiful!
I highly recommend this book, it is eloquent and full of emotions.
