Yu Wushang

She is the reincarnation of a descendant of Nuwa, born under the ill-fated star of the Heavenly Fiend Fox. At sixteen, she is a wisp of spiritual energy that suddenly appeared in the Immortal Realm, and a proud Demon Venerable rarely seen in a thousand years. A special destiny hidden within her has the power to disturb the spiritual energy of heaven and earth, and it has caused that energy to rebound against her since childhood. When she was born, thunder roared through the heavens. The retiring County Magistrate Yu named her Wushang, meaning “unharmed.” Because she carries an intoxicating fragrance, like fine wine drifting through the air, she is also known as Wushang, “without sorrow.” Kindhearted, cheerful, and brave, she dares to love and hate with all her heart. Once carefree and worry-free, she was fated to fall for Mo Bingyan the moment she first saw him at the Lingxiao Banquet… A scar from the Shattered Dreams Sword, thirty-three years of exile, ninety-nine needles to dispel delusion… Still, she stubbornly refuses to accept her fate. Yu Wushang once was everything to Mo Bingyan. But she brought upheaval to heaven and earth and the descent of the Demon God upon the Six Realms. His beloved disciple, Yu Wushang, no longer has her heart here. From then on, the Shattered Dreams Sword became a symbol of their parting. The heavens are to blame: if I cannot stay by your side, how can I let down the people who call you Immortal Mo? Yu Wushang's curse, “In this life and the next, through a thousand autumns and ten thousand generations, may we neither meet nor part, neither remember nor yearn,” means she would become a demon for him without regret. But will you remember how beautiful I was? I wish I could return to where it all began and never be hurt again, still hoping to hold your hand and roam the world with you, no longer separated by life and death…
