"Flower Window and Strange Grass" is a collection of short legendary novels in classical Chinese written by Changbai Haogezi (Qinglan) in the Qing Dynasty, and is also known as "Strange Manuscripts from a Chinese Studio". It is divided into the first, second and third volumes, each with four volumes, for a total of twelve volumes. It was completed during the Qianlong period of the Qing Dynasty.
The works include long romance novels and short notebook novels, with meticulous writing style, twists and turns of plot and full of imagination.
