The story takes place in an ancient, fictional world where humans, demons, and spirits coexist. Humans live in bustling towns and villages, while demons hide away in the mountains to cultivate. Spiritual power is the mysterious force connecting the two worlds. There is a place called Lingyin Town, where many tales of spirits and monsters are told. The Misty Forest beyond the town is home to all kinds of demons, and humans and demons maintain a delicate balance.
